Dear Parents and Players,

We, KYSA, HYSA and PYSA, are opening our registration for the spring high school soccer season.   Attached is the registration form for all three towns.  Please note the different registration procedures for each town.

In the past our three towns had been allowed to play as Silver Lake Youth Soccer.  Last year our governing board, Coastal Youth League Soccer denied our request to play as one association.  Plympton and Kingston were allowed to pool for all age groups and genders.  Halifax was allowed to pool with the other two towns in the U19 divisions but was pooled with Carver and Pembroke in the U16 division. We have recently been informed that no pooling requests will be entertained until the registration period is over and closer to the start of the spring season.  We want to you be aware that once again we may not be able to pool as Silver Lake.

You can register online or by mail (Plympton – Mail only , Halifax – Online only). For mail, print attached registration form and follow the procedures below.

FAQ:

  1. Can I play MAPLE soccer and town soccer?

No, players must choose one league.  Mass Youth Soccer will not allow dual rostering

  2. What day of the week do the high school teams play?

All games, unless make up games, will be played on Sundays

  3. When will the practices be and are they mandatory?

Practice times will be determined by each coach. We all realize high school kids are very busy with homework, spring HS sports and jobs.  Coaches try to accommodate the majority of their teams.  Although practices are not mandatory we ask all kids to make every attempt to attend.

  1. How long is the season?

The season will most likely begin on March 29 OR April 12.  Each team will play 10 games with the possibility (based on the team record) of attending the Massachusetts Tournament of Champions (June 26,27&28)
