Game Time 5:30, Please arrive 45 min early

5/4 Opening Day (Parade begins at 12:00)

5/26 Memorial Day Parade

6/9, 6/10, 6/12,6/14     Playoffs

1)       A full, continuous batting order will be used throughout each game.

2)       In the case of a player arriving late for a game and not in the original line-up, that player may be entered into the end of the line-up and bat in that spot only.

3)       Free substitution is allowed in the field.

4)       Bunting is allowed

5)       Base runners must slide on all close plays; otherwise runner may be called out.

6)       Play is dead when the ball is returned to the rubber.

7)       Leading is not allowed. Runners may not leave their base until the pitch crosses home plate, or contact is made.

8)       No balks will be called.

9)       Unsportsmanlike behavior or language is not allowed.

10)   Harassment of the opposing pitcher is prohibited.

11)   The “Infield Fly Rule” will not apply.

12)   A Game is considered complete after four (4) innings (three and one half, if the home team is leading).

13)   Each team is limited to ten (10) batters per inning, after which the team is out, regardless of the number of batters in their lineup for that game.

14)   A team is allowed to play and complete the game with as few as eight (8) players.

15)   If a team knows in advance that they will have less than 10 for a game they may contact selected players from the Farm league so they can compete without jeopardizing the safety and welfare of their players.  These selected players will be chosen by Farm league coaches and put on a list for Junior league coaches to contact on a rotating basis.  If the Farm league player has no conflicts with a Farm league game he may play in the Junior league game.  Defensively, the player will not be allowed to play either pitcher or catcher in the game.  Offensively, he will bat last in the batting order.

16)   A batter may not attempt to reach 1st base following a dropped third strike.

17)   For the purpose of warming up, the designated “Home” team will have use of the ball field from one (1) hour before game time until 15 minutes before game time. The designated “Away” team will then be allowed use of the field until game time.

18)   Team hats and jerseys must be worn at all times. Jerseys must be tucked in and gray pants worn by ALL players. Coaches and/or umpires will enforce this.

19)   Intentional Walks are not allowed.

20)   A pitcher must be removed on a coaches 2nd trip to the mound in a single inning, or a 3rd trip a game.

21)   Each team should keep an accurate scorebook during each game. Pitching changes should be logged in each teams’ book.

22)   No Smoking on the field is allowed.

23)   Game results should be reported to the League Coordinator by both teams, within twenty-four (24) hours of completion of game.

24)   In case of inclement weather during day of scheduled game, coaches should decide as soon as possible prior to game time if game will be cancelled, so that umpires and players can be notified. Home team manager will make final decision on whether to cancel game. League Coordinator should also be notified.

25)   Stealing is allowed at all bases, except home plate. The runner may attempt to steal a base only after ball passes home plate.

26)   When a ball is overthrown during a play at any base, runners may not advance more than one (1) base.

27)   No player may pitch more than three (3) innings per game (innings must be consecutive), nor more than six (6) innings per week.

28)   Players may only sit out two (2) innings defensively in the course of a regulation game. The only exceptions to this rule are injury or a player having to sit on the bench for disciplinary reasons.

29)   A pitcher must be removed if they hit two (2) batters in a single inning or three (3) batters in a game.
